Top 5 Embroidered Tops

Happy Fridayyy! We’re en route to NYC and excited to celebrate New Year’s Eve this weekend… in Times Square! It’s something we’ve wanted to do for awhile now and we thought it would be fun! I grew up watching the ball drop on T.V. and now can’t wait to kiss Anthony at midnight beneath it 🙂 It will be an interesting experience for sure and I’ll be in a large coat and gloves… not my typical NYE attire!

Anyways, lately I’ve been very drawn to tops or tees with some kind of embroidered wording, phrase or saying… something catchy is always fun- it really adds an interesting detail to an overall simple top.

I got quite a bit of e-mails on the one featured above… it was custom made for me by Rebecca Minkoff, meaning- you could find the white tee in their store- but unfortunately you won’t find the “Running Latte” portion as that was the custom part. You could possibly make one yourself if you’re good with sewing? I particularly can barely sew a button on without poking myself with the needle so I’ll stick to finding already embroidered pieces online LOL. Here are my top 5 favorites:

1. TOPSHOP: Topshop never fails with their funky and cool items, I also really like this version which I wore on Insta HERE.

2. TAVIK: I’m not only obsessed with their swimsuits, but I love this soft tee (which I have in white and black) Seen on me on Insta HERE.

3. TARGET: This one I found randomly as I ran in for laundry detergent (go figure), but it’s pretty soft!

4. MARC JACOBS: Logo top/tees are going to be even more everywhere for Spring, and this is a subtle way to sport the trend.

5. SAINT LAURENT: I’m obsessed with Saint Laurent in general and I think they’ve done such a good job with the star accents for the new season.
