denim vested

Wearing: Vintage dress, Vintage vest, Birkenstock sandals

I got this vest and dress from the Fairfax Flea in LA, one of my favorite places to bargain with vendors for quality pieces. Anyways, I’m digging how this vest brings in a denim look without wearing a full blown long sleeve jacket (especially during the daytime heat).

My hubs was actually surprised to see me in a dress! But as long as it’s comfortable, not super short or girly, I’m OK with it. Recently I found a few cool midi shift dresses while out shopping, so maybe this will be the summer of dresses/skirts for me? We’ll see…
