sunday funday: fairfax flea
Wearing: Forever 21 crop top, Cotton On overalls, Vintage sunglasses
I love Melrose Ave in LA for the vintage and thrifts shops, so the Fairfax Flea Market on a Sunday is always a bonus. Vendors come from all over selling clothing, jewelry, shoes, antiques, etc. There are always a couple that are a rip-off, way over-charging saying they “handmade it themselves” when there is a “Made in China” tag right on it. But for the most part such great deals and super cool finds that are really great quality. Oh and the food- oops, I’ve been eating healthier lately but I completely failed at the grilled cheese food truck- too delish!
Anyways, shopping with a 7 year old is a crack-up, once she sees something she likes- her mind is set and she won’t stop talking about it. We went through all these sunglasses and rings trying to find the right sizes for her tiny face and miniature hands, and then all of a sudden from across the aisle she sees this table and is like “MOM they have blue fans! Can I get one instead of the rings?”
A fan? So random but definitely worth the 5 bucks to see how excited she was about it.. fanning the rest of the time we were there…
