Last week I received great news that I am one of three finalists for the Breakthrough Blogger of the Year Award at the Bloglovin’ x HM Awards during New York Fashion Week in September! One of the best parts about this entire experience is that I got the chance to be mentored by Geri Hirsch of Because I’m Addicted (aka queen of blogging) on Friday and was so inspired by what I learned. I’ll recap more on the experience and our day together soon enough but it was a really great reminder that hard work and sticking to what you love truly pays off. Voting for the winner of the award will be available in August and I’m hoping you guys will vote for me… I’ll keep you posted on how (and when) you can help!

Anyways… summer is meant for travel and even if I’m not hoping on and off a plane, a black carryall also is perfect for roadtrips (like my upcoming one to San Francisco). I’m obsessed with the rocker chic feel of this leather with the minimal black studs and slight sheen plus the two handles are long enough to either throw over my shoulder or hold as a satchel. Everyone needs at least one great carryall and this black one is where it’s at.
