Happy mid-week! Living within walking distance from a Forever 21 has been super great not only because they have a children’s section and little accessories that Jadyn loves to save her money for… but I always like to quickly browse the shoes because they usually have cool, standout designs for a really great price. These are one of styles! I wanted to keep the rest of my outfit pretty muted though and opted for a wrap dress from their Contemporary Collection. I’m a bit surprised I featured a dress yesterday on the blog and there’s also another planned for next week as well! Am I becoming a bit more feminine lately or is it just hot as hell outside? Not sure, but I’m digging the wrapped look.

Anyways, lace up gladiators are by far my favorite type of gladiators and I prefer them much more than a caged look. These were a bit tricky to get on because I had to unlace them pretty far down to get my foot inside- but it also meant I could make them as tight as I wanted on my calves by adjusting the laces. If you’re considering gladiator sandals for the summer… go bold or go home (and make sure they lace up)!

The hubs and I are headed to San Diego this afternoon for wine tasting, a little date night and thinking of hitting the beach tomorrow if the weather stays nice! Make sure to follow along on Snapchat for all our fun.
