Subtle Sparkle with Roger Vivier

I dressed up a casual look I wore throughout the day with the help of these gorgeous Roger Vivier embellished mules and bag! I love pieces that can go from day-to-night. I wore this bag throughout the day and dressed up my look with these satin mules for dinner with friends.

Founded in 1937, Roger Vivier is a timeless brand that is best known for the creation of the stiletto heel. In 1953 Monsieur Vivier was hired by Christian Dior to design shoes for him and ALSO designed the shoes that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II worn on her coronation day! So crazy right? So much history and elegance within the line!

I love a good midi heel and this mule style looks great, especially for the summer. The shoes are very comfortable and could even be worn during the day with jeans like this. My favorite part of the heels and bag is the embellished square buckle, Roger Vivier’s signature detail! Here are a few of my other favorites with the baguette sparkle: Canvas Espadrille, Silver d’Orsay and Linen Slides.

They make other shoes and bags where the square metal buckle is not embellished but I loved adding a subtle sparkle! 🙂
