Summer Chic in Purple

I am a huge advocate of throwing on a lightweight dress during the summer! It was a pretty hot day when I wore this M Missoni dress in NYC. I love the silhouette of this dress and knew it would be the perfect dress to wear on a hot day, not to mention the color is so fun!! I generally never wear the color purple but I loved the color and the fabric details of this dress.

If you look closely the dress still sports the signature M Missoni pattern, which I love! It adds fun detail to a solid colored dress. I paired the dress with a denim jacket and booties to create a more casual look. Later that night, Anthony and I went out to dinner and I was able to throw on a pair of heels and glam up the look. There is nothing I love more than a piece I can take from day to night (:
