The BX Edit: 3 Fall Colors To Incorporate Into Your Outfits
Would you believe me if I told you that you can still wear bright and vibrant colors in fall, and not just summer? For fall 2019, you'll see neutrals taking a step back, as vibrant oranges, greens, and reds take the front row. As temperatures begin to drop this season, you may find yourself hesitant to go back to your wardrobe full of neutrals, and instead keeping some summer-colored pieces for the colder months!
Below are three colors you can incorporate into your fall outfits and some of my favorite coinciding fall pieces!
Orange Tiger
This bright color will catch anyone's eye without feeling like it's too much. Orange Tiger exudes positive energy and can be worn with a neutral separate to make an even bolder statement.
BX Styling Tip: Orange can be a daunting color to wear, especially if you find your closet filled with neutrals, but keeping the orange piece as bottoms, and pairing it with a more neutral top piece will counterbalance with the brightness, creating a much softer look.
Pistachio
Green has made its fair share of appearances in fashion as slime green, olive, and sage, but now it's introducing itself as pistachio. Though green is thought as more of a color for spring, if paired with different textures and fabrics, it can be the perfect pop of color for the colder months!
BX Styling Tip: Some pistachio pieces have grey undertones, so pairing them with vintage Levi's or light wash jeans will really add a chic, yet simple touch to your outfit.
Biking Red
Similar in its hues as merlot, biking red is a classic color for fall. Its warm tones can be paired with neutrals for a chic look, but a monochromatic ensemble (i.e. suit) will be the perfect outfit for any outing.
BX Styling Tip: Because of its similarities to merlot and burgundy, biking red is best worn as a monochromatic outfit. But if you're more into a contrasting look, pair an open-back blouse with black, wide-leg trousers. But whichever pieces you go with, biking red will look best when paired with other warm colors.
