The BX Edit: My Favorite Fall Fashion Find (That’s Under $50)
A capsule wardrobe is like meal planning but for your closet, and instead of food, it's clothes. Think of it as is a collection of a few of your favorite pieces that can be mixed and matched with each other, creating versatile, yet simple outfits.
One thing I always keep in my wardrobe, no matter the season is basics. Basics are so important when it comes to styling your outfits because of their simplicity. You can dress them up or down. They act like a blank canvas, and ultimately take out the frantic "how am I suppose to style this?!" out of the equation! For my basics, I love wearing Uniqlo. Their pieces are chic yet soo comfortable! The best part? They don't break the bank. My favorite piece this season is the U Wide-Fit Curved pants! I also love their HeatTech collection for the colder months!
I love how the pants have a tighter fit around the waist, giving a more "cinched" look, and can't wait to style with turtlenecks and even cropped sweaters. I paired my U Wide-Fit Curved pants with a fitted high neck t-shirt and coat for a little extra warmth. Since the pants are a wide fit at the bottom, I recommend pairing them with a tighter-fitting top to bring balance to the outfit.
Uniqlo always has a wide range of colors to choose from when looking for a particular piece. The pants also come in a soft jersey fabric and various denim washes. Many of their tops have a great range of neutrals (my go-to!) and brighter colors.
