Military Inspired Pieces I’m Loving

Military inspired pieces seem to be everywhere this season but with a utilitarian twist. I’m seriously loving all the large gold flat-faced buttons, studs and cargo pants. Many brands are adding exaggerated details and on-trend updates to iconic silhouettes.

These T by Alexander Wang canvas tapered pants, are a seriously the perfect military inspired staple. I love how they are a bit oversized and baggy, but tapered at the ankle and cinched at the waist for shape.

You could even add oversized black sweater for the ultimate off-duty look, but don’t be fooled by the casual vibe of the pants, they can easily be dressed up with black heels or down with boots like these or even sneakers.

To keep the military trend consistent, I added this chic studded Michael Kors Bristol handbag to the look. I love the silver details and how I can carry the bag by hand or crossbody, very versatile!
