Dressing for Work In The Summer (3 Easy Outfits)
Dressing for a 9am- 5pm office job can be challenging enough but finding a chic, office appropriate outfit during the hottest time of the year is even more difficult! This summer I'm all about mixing streetwear in with your everyday office attire. There are many ways to stay cool during the warm weather months, below, I added some versatile yet office appropriate outfit ideas from jumpsuits to monochrome sets to help guide you and give you some OOTD inspirations!
The Jumpsuit
Wanting to be more comfortable but still want to look put together? Throw on a jumpsuit of your choice, from classic black to a pop of color. This outfit is so versatile because you can go from working a 9hr shift to grabbing dinner with your girlfriends by just adding a few accessories! Add a fun belt, or a statement necklace to bring your going out look together.
MONOCHROME SET
Monochrome pieces always looks ultra sophisticated, especially with a matching blazer and pants. Lightweight, linen blazers are perfect for summer, especially because the office can be cold. Pair with a fun top underneath to take off after work. The key to wearing neutral colors head-to-toe is layering different textures and tones. Adding a pop of color to your lips or statement heels will bring the look together. Don't be afraid of wearing all one color!
SLIP DRESS + BLAZER
By the end of the week, your outfits may feel a little too routine. So to edge up your basic slip dress and pair with a chic blazer. Add a fun pair of sandals for the ultimate summer look. It's also a fun way to bring out your fall blazers and mix and match fall/summer pieces. I always find slip dresses to be so comfortable and this look is perfect if you have plans after work!
