DIY Flower Wall

I’m normally not one to blog about DIY projects, but this one is too easy and pretty not to share! I found the original idea on Green Wedding Shoes, a wedding blog I was obsessed with when planning my wedding and I still follow them on Instagram for major floral inspo.

I created the wall for my friend Heather’s bridal shower, but it would also be great at a wedding or baby shower as well. The key is having a smooth wall and using flowers that will pop with contrast. Heather’s wedding colors are blush and gold, so I stuck with rose color flowers and used the white flowers to contrast the grey wall. I used bouquets of ranunculus and roses and gold washi tape, but you could really use any flower that has a thick stem to create the line effect. I used one piece of washi tape on the smaller flowers but usually they needed two pieces to really stick and because the tape was gold it really brought the colors together well!
